It doesn't matter weither we talk about what they could be or what they are... Orton is too bland charisma-wise, while Cena has half his matches build up the same way. I'd honestly take Hustle-Cena over Oily-Legs-Orton anyday.
Cena: Can work very good to excellent matches, as Wrestlemania has proven, as did MITB, etc. He also can do the mic-part, even though it could be so much better if it weren't his bland character he's playing. The bad matches he participates in are either filler-matches, TV-Matches or Build-Up Matches. As soon as the matches have something important, they rock.
Orton: Can work good matches on a constant basis, but they rarely exceed the excellent-scala. Vs. Christian was such a match, and for that I give him credit. But I never have that "awesome!"-moment when he is in the ring. Mic-Wise he just plain sucks. I AM GOING TO CRUSH. YOUR. SKULL. WHILE. I. SPEAK. IN. A. MONOTONE. VOICE. *fistpumps the floor*
I honestly don't know why Orton is on the top of the card... especially as a face. While his way to speak fits his heel-character, it doesn't make it any more pleasant.

actually, think Orton is an excellent performer, WHEN he is in the heel role, he's boring as a face, sure, but then who isn't?

Cuttlefish and asparagus or vanilla paste? Both aren't much to write home about, don't you think?
