I notice that as soon mw3 took over in this poll, T3 were quick to make it known but when bf3 takes the lead again, T3 post nothing...lol T3 hate innovation in everything. Same with ios vs android. Android clear winner. mw3 only has players running around and been doing same thing over and over for past few years. Bf3 has everything from soldiers, massive scaled maps, destruction, vehicles and T3 seem to ignore the differences. Get a grip T3!

I really just want to see Levi eat his words when both games are out. as far as im concerned BF3 ftw and all them COD players can stay the hell away from BF3. the only thing they will bring to the game is their 12 year old shitiness.
First, I gotta say I read some of the comments below and the arguing is pretty pathetic. Secondly I will say, Im not going to slam on the series that really pulled me into modern FPS games (CoD4:MW) but I did enjoy BF2MC, only for the online play. But with the 3's coming out Im giving my vote to BF3 because I played the alpha, its visually stunning, the design on the map (that we got to play) didnt seem to allow for much camping (not that im against camping, its part of all FPS) and the audio was perfect. Also they are adding Infantry only gameplay which will be fast pace. Again I enjoy CoD and I would tear most of you up on xbox live =P but i really havent noticed much game changing at all since CoD4:MW, I do like the cash system of BlOps and the customization but thats it, the speed of the game wasnt an issue for either game. I feel that BF is a more Complete game with things other than speed it brings to the table. however because of the franchise loyalty and marketing I think MW3 will have more players for a while. But I encourage everyone to atleast try both games. no sense in sitting on one side of the fence here.
I agree that CoD MW3 will be amazing to play.. but my heart and everything goes out to the best game evar.. named Battlefield 3.. even CoD fans should be able to agree that there is nothing created as BF3 before, and this will create a new age to gaming experience..
Its obv that battlefield 3 will be the better game this year cod has gone down hill. Also dont even compare the bad company games as a proper bf game as they are not bf1942, bf vietnam, bf2 and bf2142 were proper battlefield games obv pc only. And battlefield has the best theme music compared to cod compare cod and bf and bf are the better games that take more skill to play heh no recoil hardly in cod.

uhm battlefield - fake? - oh lol, they are the only ones who use gravity and recoil in their games, and please stop saying cod is better - really, the quality of bf3 is just amazing. And mirrors edge is also amazing. if someone chooses cod over bf then it's not a matter of choice but a matter of stupidity and ignorance, because bf is better than cod in almost every possible way.

I haven't played Battlefield yet but it looks like it is going to be a good game. I do like Call of Duty so I am really looking forward to getting MW3. I plan on getting both games when they come out. Only then will people know which game will be better.

Both great! Both my favourits.... I still choose BF3. BF is one of the few games I ever bought for pc. Because I had to play online.MW games were the best in the CoD franchise but for me mostly because of the singleplayer storyline. Great game that I can play over and over again. I have Pre-ordered BF3 (never did that before). hope my pc is good enough to play :P
Eric Kopf, you should know that CoD will always have better gunplay than BF's fake and ridiculous gunplay. The animations were really stiff and horribly integrated on BC2, the recoil on the guns made the shots hit all around the screen whilst firing in full auto even while your sights were pointing straight in the middle and the game's hit dedection is pretty much retarded in many cases. That all combined makes for ridiculously illogical gunplay that I did not enjoy even while I do really good in the game.
Levi you need to learn to grow up, adults play better games (like Battlefield) while kids play games under par. Battlefield has a lot of things that are better then CoD. Destructible environments, vehicles, better weapons, and ever changing atmosphere. CoD has the uber fans, the people who by the end of the week already hacked the game and have all titles and guns. Battlefield doesn't have that.
The only good CoD was 4 not MW2 but CoD4. Its a shame that they haven't really added anything new to the games except small things. Whereas Battlefield is constant challenging the community with new aspects, vehicles, new weapons, and the huge battlefields. Plus the graphics update will be strides above CoD. I'll end up getting both but I'll be speding a lot of time on BF3. PS Every weapon on the Battlefield takes skill and strategy to use. Can't just spray and prey
PSS Just because you don't like the game( or in your case have no skill and have nothing better to do the flame the forums about it) doesn't mean it sucks, just means you need to suck less.
Holy shit, Levi is a little damn kid (Who has a fat face), This is all that's wrong with Mw3, it's marketing itself to kids, not adults, it rewards the players with Gold start, kids like gold stars, as it's seen in School behavioural programs, because it works, so kids go for the biggest and best, or the highest prestige & rank, not caring for anyone else.
That is what's wrong with BOTH fan-bases, fanboys defending the series blind, now, I'm not a battlefield fanboy or a Cod fanboy, the sole reason I'm not getting Mw3 is because it's going to be the same thing, maybe some more perks or some small thing's added, nothing new, and probably rehashes of the same old maps for $15 odd, without adding any great deal of content.
Again, there are DLC on both sides but there is a difference with them, whilst the MW DLC's add a couple of maps that any competent mapper could make and overprices the shit outta them, Now i'm only going on the past series but the BC2: Vietnam "DLC" added a whole range of more content; Weapons, Maps, Soundtrack, Vehicles and Voice overs and I got it for only £5, it's worth a lot more than some, Quality > Quantity.
Now Onto the publishers, whilst EA has been redeeming themselves in the eye of the consumer, they pulled a dick move with the Star Wars MMO, which ruined their image and their Poor-ish Origin in comparison to the competitor Steam.
Let's not forget Dice Made Mirrors Edge and still retains all the employees from the first battlefield game, 1941 whilst the Butchered infinity Ward is working with 2 other developer teams, again Quality > Quantity, you have to think of the communication issues with the 3 developers working on Mw3.
TL:DR MW3 is being marketed more and more to Kids thinking they're all Tactic00l while BattleField 3 is trying to live up to the success among the PC community that was BattleField 2, That's why it's being developed for PC first + the obvious Lack of Ram and processing Power from the two consoles.

Seriously? I'm buying both. Modern Warfare I'm buying not because I'm looking for a game changer, but because I'm looking for more of the same. I like the way Call of Duty is now, no big deal to buy another similar game. That's like expecting something game changing out of a Grand Theft Auto game, different story, but just more of the same.
Battlefield I might buy, but I'm a little let down with the Bad Company series, and while this isn't part of it, everything I've seen shows it to be of similar play style. I'll probably hire it first.
But we all know Assassins Creed Revelations is going to kick both games asses, and I'm more excited for Deus Ex Human Revolution than them as well -shrug- Better games are coming out, guys.

CoD is like laser tag with actual guns. You point at something, shoot, and there's no time in between the shot and the hit. Whereas in BF, the guns actually shoot bullets! Sniping in BF takes much more skill making you lead the shot. CoD doesn't have that because it's more of an arcade game. Also, you can't just aim at a chopper with an AT4 and let it lock on in BF. Once you shoot the missile you actually have to lead it to the chopper. Basically, you need more skill in BF along with teamwork.
Haha, i have read all the comment's that have been published here. and i saw something, ALMOST every good comment is supporting BF3 or both. Those who support cod is mostly saying ; Cod ftw! or cod rocks bf sucks balls. for my part, i think both will be good for the players! if cod wouldn't be there it would be a shame for the fans of cod and the same to battlefield! i will buy Battlefield 3 since i don't have the money to buy both, and I personally think that i't won't be many new changes in cod as in bf.
CoD has been using the same engine since CoD4:MW. MW3 is going to have the same graphics as Black Ops, so basically it's going to be a giant map pack. Whoop-de-freaking-do. BF3 is going to own its ass. Only reason CoD has more votes is because it's more popular among the derp-de-derp 10 year olds.
Kyle Stark is the problem with todays gamers. Hes the standard console jockey that doesn't know how to use a computer let alone play on it. 64 players vs 18 for mw3? At best that is if they use the same thing as MW2 and from what I have seen from PC Gamer they are saying its the EXACT same fail as MW2. Dedicated Servers vs Peer to Peer like console faggots? Sorry I would rather play on a server where there is no host advantage and you don't need to worry as much about hacks because of moderators. Thanks

The latest CoD games have sucked mayor donkeyballs. Mw2 has good engine but terrible mp. BO has good concept, good sp engine but sucks mp on pc. BC2 is splendid with the frostfire and shit. CoD and BF is not the same game and will hopefully never be. BF is a wargame, CoD is a quickscoping battle. Hopefully all the poor kids who can not afford good specs will not be able to play BF3.
I can only see one good thing about MW3. And that is that MW3 is gonna keep the small kids occupied, so they don't join BF3. That would be a disaster if the Call of Boring kids, ruined that game too. Battlefield 3 FTW!

Last I looked at the gameplay and the graphics. MW3 is just a copy of MW2.

Battlefield 3 all the way, at least the developers of BF3 are trying to make a good game.
Levi Witherspoon is an example of what is going wrong with CoD, There fan base is filling up with kids so they end up making these games with kids in mind where as battlefield has always been the big boys game. BF has the best vehicle combat, it is the best squad based game on the market and now this year it will set the bar for all FPS’s to come.

from what i have been told i think BF3 will have more players then mw3 . coz i have been told that you will have to pay £8 mouthly to play on mw3 map packs anyone on if this is right or not ? but i know i will be gettin the 2 games as i have player bf 1&2 and i have played all the cods so will have to try them out just to see

andrew there is difference between camping and defending an objective which some don't understand, if i am playing rush on the defending side and i need to defend an objective i am forced to stay put if i find an perfect spot for it which everyone allways at start judge as camping which is the major problem most of the time and what comes to spawn camp/killing i hope there will be smart admins around to prevent such an assholish event.

I don't get what any ones issue is with camping. The games are suppose to simulate war. Do think real soldiers just run around constantly shooting. As long as people don't spawn camp and only camp for sniping then I think it's all good.
