The officers family cares how much pain he feels? If you want my opinion each person put to death should feel as much pain as possible and there family should have to hear all the details of it. Because I'm quite sure you and every other news paper and station told as much as you could about the officers death.

It is pitiful that we keep worrying about convicted murderers, rapists, child mesters, feelings. Like a rabid dog they need to be destroyed!
