Is Google+ being too pedantic about using real names?

Yes. It should be my right to use a pseudonym.

No. I think social networks need to keep it real. Remember “Fakesters?"

Maybe a bit much. But Google is working now to appease some users.

The policy tweaks are too little, too late for me. Banning people is extreme.

Why does Google think they have the power to dictate to me what name I can use? I've used the same alias on sites over the last decade. Its as much my name as the one my parents gave me. This heay-handed crap is just going to drive users away.
