It is interesting that this poll has an option for "I worry that Congress won't cut spending deeply enough," but does not have an option for "I worry that Congress won't raise enough revenue." Just because the TP has taken revenue increases out of the debate in Congress does not mean that it should not be discussed by the public. Many people (ie, Congressional constituents) still favor a compromise of combining these two deficit control measures.

How embarrassing it is to see just how our country is being run. And the fear level is just as ridiculous. To see so many citizens worried about their retirement savings is a sure sign that reality has been completely abandoned. For the first time ( and I am truly fibbing here.... I have been ashamed many times before....) I am ashamed to be an American. As a teacher soon to retire, I can only say..... GET A GRIP!....
