Which Oilers d-man had the worst performance in a season?

If "performance" is linked to a players' salary (as it should be), then Souray and his +5 million salary would easily make his 2009-10 season the worst performance. His 13 points in 37 games means over $400 000/point, if he would have played all 82 games (about 29 points) means over $185 000/point. Plus Souray was expected to put up points (like the previous season) as an offensive/powerplay d-man, yet he did not. If performance is who had the worst season (eg. not able to dress regularly on most NHL teams), then it would have to be Chorney or Strudwick. Although I really love Jason Strudwick and all that he has done for the Oilers, he is at best a 7th d-man and utility forward at best in the NHL. I don't think he will be back playing for the team next year, as his leadership is being replaced by Ryan Smyth for the coming season. As for Souray with Dallas, I honestly wish him the best of luck and hope that things are a better fit where he can finish off his career.
