he will most likely face (and beat) goldikova BUT not in the u.s
the FACT remains turf racing in europe is at a far greater level than u.s and the only country to showcase this horses ability is ausralia.
take nothing away from goldikova BUT canford cliffs won with relative ease when they met this year as most with half a clue knew would happen BUT when taking on frankel canford just couldnt get near him and is the first time this horse has ever been of the bridle so far out is his LIFE
canford cliffs has been beaten 3 times in his career 0.5L , 0.5L and 1.5L THAT was until he got absolutely slammed by frankel by 5L
canford cliffs doesnt get beat far in his races because of his high cruising speed and even when he pulled like a train in the 2000 Guineas he was still only beaten 1.5L by makfi and put that nightmare trip behind him when slamming makfi by 4.5L in the St James's Palace at ascot.
makfi did spring back after that defeat when taking on goldikova on home soil and beating goldika with ease by 2.5L to complete a strong collateral form line.
the FACTS ARE THAT CANFORD CLIFFS IS BETTER THAN GOLDIKOVA
AND
FRANKEL MADE CANFORD CLIFFS LOOK ORDINARY (which is something NO other races horse has done)
i could go on but i think i made my point and for you to compare goldikova and frankel seems emotional rather than a well thought out comparison of 2 high class racehorses
i would gladly take a match bet with you when they do race if you truly believe goldikove is a better race horse than frankel (not long now for my point to be proven though i suspect)
