What effect do you think would the recent developments in Germany have on the ECB’s statement?

I think that the high inflation rate in the country would pressure the ECB to keep being aggressive against rising prices.

Eh, I don’t think the reports would really matter. Germany maybe the biggest but it’s not the only country in the euro zone you know.

Negative, of course! Signs of slowing growth in the country imply that the economy has had enough rate hikes. Trichet is gonna be dovish!
