In reality....the economic crashing of the US will hurt Canada....but it shouldn't.....since are last real Canadian leader ..Pierre Elliott Trudeau was in office, we've had a long line of Prime Ministers that for some reason have an inferiority complex when it comes to dealing with the US...we have pretty much all the necessities of life and prosperity here in this great land yet our government continues to yield to the word of another country...our sovereignty seems to include as long as we count in the Americans...??????why??????with the largest oil ,water ,and food supplies on the planet...why don't we become the economic power that we should be????....the Americans will have to deal with us whether they like it or not....and their 5 to 10 TRILLION dollar deficit is not the problem of the Canadian people...no matter how hard Ottawa tries to sell it to us........

I am far more worried about the effect that the mishandling of the economy by the present Canadian government will have. Things likje the lessening of purchaising power by the average Canadian as the wealth and income paradigm is shifted in favour of the high income groups.

Things like the increase of poverty and of the crime that follows that increase:and the further falling behind of pensioners: the economic effects of these.
