It shows you how dumb people are, because vampires in Twilight can move faster than humans can see. Even if Harry could fire off a spell it would basically be standing still to Edward. I'm not a Twilight fanboy but it's obvious that everyone who picks Harry is just doing it because they like Harry Potter.
Realistically Edward would tear Harry's head off before he could even realize Edward has moved. I've also seen Edward vs Voldemort, Edward vs Dumbledore, etc, but it would all pan out the same way. It doesn't matter how accomplished the wizard is if they're facing someone who can move faster than they can aim, and who can easily avoid their spells once they've fired them. How the hell could Voldemort hit a stupendously fast Edward with Avada Kedavra if even a human can dodge it?
