A citation in a list of references should include:
First author, "et al.", journal name, volume number, starting page, year.
All author names, journal name, volume number, starting page, year.
Author names, journal name, volume number, starting and ending pages, year.
Author names, paper title, journal name, volume number, starting and ending pages, year.
Author names, paper title, journal name, volume number, starting and ending pages, year, journal publisher.
Some other combination of information that does not appear above, that I will explain in a comment.
As a being of pure intellect, I have no need to cite references, as I have perfect comprehension of the whole of reality without assistance from others. I do love radio-button polls, though.
