The difference between Obama's buses and the other ones pictured is that the American taxpayer paid for them to be used ostensibly for a sitting president's beginning campaign tour. Nobody points out that those big Prevosts get about 5 miles per gallon, if that much. It's appropriate that the buses are black, resembling vehicular Darth Vaders with a message of doom.

Bush approved the expediture & the order was released before he left. Get a journalist involved in your next report.
The President, like our troops, deserve the best gear & for much of the same reasons.

why was it necessary to BUY a bus for a 3 day trip. Wouldn't it have been a lot cheaper to rent one even if they had to do some temporary upgrades.

It is easy to believe that this president would hypocritically purchase foreign-made buses for a tour promoting American job programs.
What is hard to believe is that they were bought from a dealer in the very red state of Tennessee. I imagine heads will roll when Obama finds iut who couldn't find a blue state dealership. Canadian, okay; Tennessee, not okay.
