How Do You Listen To Music At Home?

I have a ten years old stereo system, which is still very good. And it should be, since I paid about $10,000 for an amplifier, CD player and two speakers.
I listen to music on my iPod, too, but not MP3 format, which is too low quality compared with Wave format. For a classical music fan, like myself only the Wave format is worth considering, even it takes about ten times more space on the hard drive. For pop, rock (I like those, too to a lesser extent) etc. the difference in quality is less significant, but it's there, no doubt about it.
Anybody having good, sensitive ears will be able to distinguish easily between an MP3 of Wave format while listening to the same music in both formats, one after another.
