Close one, & nerdy DA gets props, but Freddy T took it -- based on the ratings smackdown alone. If that had been live, the audience would have gone absolutely wild (the equivalent of saying DA's momma's so fat when she wears a malcolm x jacket the helicopters try to land on her)

This is the first battle which has me torn. Can't decide who to vote for.
Fred's lyrics were more biting and pointed. "You Oughta Know" is a sick, sick beat and Fred did well enough with his timing.
This round, D.A. managed to top his last offering, which I thought would be tough to do. D.A. had a killer flow on top of solid lyrics.
Really hard to decide. Leaning ever-so-slightly towards Freddy T.
Best part is in DA's rap: "Hey, Freddy T, did you think I'd forget? If you win this battle you're as good as DEAD!"

It's PAY BACK TIME, Fred. DA gets my vote. I loved that DA turned Fred's slams on him back onto Fred. The morning show set up this contest so Fred doesn't get to whine when he's served. And then when they play them Fred gets to plug himelf. Pathetic. Fred's a catty b**ch. A lot of Fred's was aimed at JStew - not DA.

The 3 best rappers thus far in the entire competition were DA, Fred and Gresh. It's a shame so many people were suckered into thinking Felger would be entertaining soley because he used V-I-P as his beat in his first go-around. A finals round where Gresh and DA would go at it would be way more entertaining than Mazz and DA. Listening to Mazz is like "Chalk meeting nails," terrible.
DA's flow was so damn crisp and on the mark with the jokes.
