I liked the changing background wallpapers with Ubuntu 11.04. But this new one. I changed it when I found where the "appearances" were on 11.10. The new o.s is fine. I have a thumb drive with tons of wallpapers, will load those on to my system. But I am having fun using this o.s. I have used WinXXX forever and a friend turned me onto Linux Ubuntu.

This as the default wallpaper again?! Oh my goodness!! Looks like puke. Someone please tell the Ubuntu design team. Surely if this is the wallpaper that's greets newbies who have come over from Windows, their going to think ....this is like utter rubbish.

It really doesn't matter what they use as default. We are all going to change it within 30 minutes anyhow!

The wallpapers aren't the slightest bit attractive -- I never seem to like any wallpaper that is provided. And often one of the first things I do when I get a new OS or laptop/account -- I change the wallpaper immediately. Even if it's to some other default to be a temp, then use Deviant Art to get something else that's more to my liking.
Also -- the login background -- I change if it's possible. Purple just isn't a color I really like.
