    Are you kidding? Hurrican Gloria in 1985 was a Category 3 when it hit Long Island. 1 death was associated with the storm and that was from a falling tree limb. Most power was restored within 24-48 hours. This storm will be at worst a Category 2, and in all likelihood a Category 1 when it hits, Katrina was a Category 5!. Bad? Yes, but we've survived worse. This is just typical of the panic driven, scare grandma & grandpa to death, drive a news story, hype. What do we get? Chicken Little telling us the sky is falling. Get a grip.
