I used Skyward at my previous district. I never had any major issues. Compared to the two weeks I've used IC it's 100% times easier. I think there was some set up on the back end at admin because we didn't get to set categories for grades. The options to clone an assignment were much easier and you weren't limited to which classes. I've heard scary stories about grade posting time in this district. It's actually the thing I'm most scared of. I hope we can move to this system. It is very user friendly.

I have used Skyward as a parent, and I have appreciated the ease and effeciency of locating the information that I needed.

After talking to my son's teachers that use it, I have come to the conclusion that inputting and uploading the necessary information is much easier than IC.

Honestly, I hope that we switch to skyward. Overall, VERY user friendly for everyone.

RSCCC was not user friendly. Also, changes were made to the system frequently, but users were not informed.

I absolutely loved using skyward. So easy to use for both parents and teachers!

SPED Manager is awfully cumbersome, and not user friendly. The printouts are challenging to read and decipher. Some information on the documents is repetative and we end up printing several pages 20-30+pages for many student IEPS. I appreciate the CLASS program we used a few years back.

    Esembler was more user friendly.

I used EdSoft and loved it.

When I came to MISD we used Region 10. It was a DOS looking screen. It was archaic, and I was glad when we stopped using it. I have much more control over some functions now than I did with that system.

I've used skyward and found the reconciliation process at the end of every six weeks to be extremely inefficient. Honestly, the best gradebook that I've used is Esembler.

Skyward was so wonderful because it was user friendly, and it seemed to be a little bit faster running than Infinite Campus.

Skyward was one of the most user friendly and EASIEST systems I have come accross. You can even message parents through Skyward. When it comes to the grade book, you can do so much more than Infinite Campus. Transitioning to IC has been a little rough, because Skyward was SO much easier to use and navigate. Teacher/student/parental user friendly! ++++++
