Ha, Sue, I noticed that about the "rule-keeping" too. It's a good sign that most everybody knows that's a bad answer. ;-) I like your answer; it brings up a fundamental weirdness of this verse. Does the rightness cause the trust, or does the trust cause the rightness?

I see from the poll that nobody likes to be a rule-keeper. I guess that's because its all about relationship, not rules.
I see this verse to mean: ~ "When you're right with Papa, you trust him." ~ That's how I live.
