Would you want Spotsylvania to have 24/7 coverage by career firefighters?

The over $2 million wasted on CVFR the last few years would have given us system of near 24/7 had those funds been used between FREMS and SVFD. The systemic corruption inside of CVFR is just beginning to come to light. CVFR is a failed county investment.

The current system is under great many changes and it is all for the good. I volunteer in both Fire and Rescue and it does take alot of my time that could be spent else where, however I do enjoy what I do. I think in the end it will all work out and we will be better for it. For those who voted regardless of the cost, well I am glad that you make the big bucks and can afford taxes or what ever will be collected from the county to make it happen, but as for me I'd rather spend it on my needs, the needs of my childeren and future grand childeren. or just save it for a rainy day. not get 2 to 3 jobs just to afford to live here.
I personally believe in the current system and that no system is flawless, but just like anything in the USA we must all look to the future and not play te game of the current government and just spend money "regardless of the cost". THATS WHY WERE BROKE!!
