I agree, to a certain point. I ship Klaine, but the whole fandom often makes me cringe. However, if anything, Klaine fans get told their relationship is toxic, Blaine is abusive etc. etc. and you have to remember that Klaine is a large (not necessarily best, just large) fandom so there are more idiots that shine through. A lot of Klaine fans are actually awesome, but they get clouded over by scary nasty ones.

The Will/Emma dynamic was screwed up in the first half of last season, but I think it got MUCH better in the second half. I actually think Will/Emma and Kurt/Blaine are the only two "Glee" couples with any believable long-term potential. Will/Emma are HARDLY abusive, and I think anyone who says that is acting stupid. That word is so overused that it's disturbing.

The reason why some people are so angry that Wemma is winning is because they see it as a toxic, abusive relationship and that Will is a terrible person who needs to grow up before he can be in a mature, adult relationship. For many, yes, it is that Klaine is losing, but for another huge chunk it's that they're losing specifically to THAT couple because the couple has been shown to be pretty awful in the second season. Just offering some perspective on the manner.

I think there are nasties in every corner of fandom. I know I'm usually fielding anon hate from some millitant Hevans and Kurtofsky shippers. In general my dashboard is a nice place to be. I don't really hate any character. I think all bashing of any character/ship is ridiculous. I just defend my right to enjoy whatever I want.

I love Wemma and Klaine! Wemma is a quiet, but strong fandom and Klainers are really vocal and also a strong fandom. I love them both because they are positive couples who bring out the best in each other and aren't toxic hot messes.
I think a lot of people are over Finchel b/c they don't seem to be able to make that couple work without throwing Puck and Quinn under the bus for them. Honestly, I find it funny that people are hating on Klainers for "an insignificant online poll" when the very people making those complaints are taking the time to vote in and comment about said poll. That's such a logic fail...if it truly didn't matter, or s/one truly didn't care about Klaine, they wouldn't take the time to bash the couple or the fandom. There's plenty of couples on this list I dislike/don't care about...and BECAUSE I don't give a tiny rat's behind about them I'm not going to single them out and bash them or their fandom. Klaine is one of those ships that has a very well organized, very vocal fandom. Much like Dean/Cas from Supernatural ...Klaine has a fandom that represents their ship and they represent them hard. That's such a logic fail...if it truly didn't matter, or s/one truly didn't care about Klaine, they wouldn't take the time to bash the couple or the fandom. There's plenty of couples on this list I dislike/don't care about...and BECAUSE I don't give a tiny rat's behind about them I'm not going to single them out and bash them or their fandom. Klaine is one of those ships that has a very well organized, very vocal fandom. Much like Dean/Cas from Supernatural ...Klaine has a fandom that represents their ship and they represent them hard. If your ships fandom can't keep up, don't hate, it just is what it is.
And this is coming from a Kurtofsky shipper who voted for Finchel so....yeah.

Just because they're the main characters doesn't mean anything... Some people just like Kurt and Blaine better. Does that mean they don't like Finn and Rachel? No. Does that mean they don't know that Finn and Rachel are the Alpha couple of the show? No. Does the fact that because they're not the MAIN couple mean that people can't like them more? NO.
I know Finn and Rachel are the stars, but honestly, I just like Kurt and Blaine better. There's nothing wrong with that.
