I think Childish Gambino is underrated in terms of his hype as a rapper. Maybe it's because he has so many other jobs and titles that he can't market and push himself like other rappers can. Then again I find it hilarious that he's so good at something he's doing mainly in his free time when he's not on Community or writing scripts & bits for his stand up.

I think Childish Gambino is very talented. He consistently makes good music. The thing is I hate it when folks try to convince others that not liking his music is wrong or something. I understand and acknowledge that people like to root for the "underdog" but honestly, how big of an underdog is he? He's a cast member of a popular network sitcom, comedian and wrote for The Daily Show and 30 Rock.

I have heard this dude on all of two podcast (yours and the J Pitts Show, shout out J Pitts) and not once on the radio. He is the very definition of underrated. Of course you know how we underground heads are, we kind of like that the people whose work we appreciate gets to be held close to the chest and shared only amongst ourselves for a bit so we can all feel a bit smug and ahead of the curve.

I really enjoy Childish Gambino's music. He is clearly has talented. I 1st heard him when he freestyled on Jimmy Falon & it peaked my interest. I look forward to hearing more of his music & I hope his tour comes to Cleveland
