Is a community co-op bookstore a good idea for Chestnut Hill?

Yes. Just because the chains can't make it work doesn't mean we can't.

No. Amazon sold more e-books than paper this year. Bookstores are a thing of the past.

Maybe. It's a good idea, but perhaps the store should be smaller.

I don't think so. There's too much competition and coops are difficult to start.

I believe that a coop bookstore could work if it included venues for meetings, readings, performance art and activities(and hours/prices) to attract various ages/ interests. It would be beneficial to other businesses in the area as well.
