    3 Super Bowl rings*******

As a NE Patriots fan from the age of 8, I can tell you that I sat there with my jaw dropped; I can't believe what I heard coming out of Tedi's mouth...and I had just read Ocho's tweet like 5 minutes prior to turning on the tv.
It's easy to put someone under the microscope and overanalyze everything. Tedi's NOT on the team anymore, and it's easy for him to criticize after he's been with the "Patriot's Way" for YEARS, and, Tedi was on defense, not offense, and a porous one at times, which is why we always had to outscore the other team. The Patriots offense will always be a hell of a lot more complex than the defense. Period.
Give Ocho a break and some time to find his role in the offense. The wide receiver position role has changed in our offense, since we use shorter routes and three tight ends. This system doesn't use a route tree, so it's totally different than what most WRs are used to.
Tedi and the rest of ESPN is up in arms because things should stay in the locker room and not get tweeted. Ocho didn't do that, but hey, if anyone should get slammed, it should be Tedi. He's the one that should've kept his mouth shut...his comments were much longer than 140 characters.
Looks like I'll be taking his jersey off my wall and putting Russ Francis back up...
I wonder how much I'll get for Tedi's jersey on Ebay?
    Free shipping...
    Go Patriots!!!

SO SAD! For someone as humble as Tedi Bruschi, this is a very surprising comment. A person going from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for wounded warriors to cutting down a PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE is just pathetic. WHERE IS YOUR CLASS!? Chad is a very hard working player who just came into a new team, for the record. So, his 100 yard games aren't going to come instantly. He's human just like everyone else, more gifted than some, but human. I think that Tedi could have used a better choice of words for the situation instead of degrading a future Hall of Famer. If he only did more research about Chad, he'd realize that CO is #28 in all-time receiving yards. Oh yeah, by the way, he's still playing and has more years to come, so he might just make the top 10. Comparing careers, Tedi had always been on an amazing team, where as, Chad has been with the Bengals, who have been up and down for the past decade. Must be nice to have 5 Super Bowl rings. Point blank, comment shouldn't have been made towards a great person like Chad Johnson.

A BIG CHILD PLEASE GOES OUT TO TEDI BRUSCHI!!!!

There was nothing interesting nor arguable about ochocinco's tweet.
Ted's new job is to stir up controvery. He's trying to keep his job.

Why would Bruschi make an attack on such an innocent statement? "WOW," said Chad.
Shut up Bruschi. Such rudeness, bad manners, and lack of class on your part. I think there's a back story to his comment that we aren't aware of.

Ocho was saying cool shit tedi why dont u go and die from taking all that juice its football who gives a shit mind your own buisness you dont play anymore so shut the fuck up

Bruschetta (that's what I'll call him) needs to get over himself. His looooooong remarks are way too personal. What is he jealous about? Until he can get an FM radio show then he needs to STFU...well he really needs to STFU right now. I can't stand it when people like him bash other players for personal reasons. Cris Collingsworth is another no-ring-having bitter ex player whose always making snide little off color commentary on players and teams. Geesh. Its football, not world politics....get over yourself and keep it moving!!!

Ocho did'nt do anything in the last game, but every time Brady did do something there was Ocho on the sideline getting in the camera shot...but then I'm a Bungal fane so I might be a bit tarnished!

Who is Tedy? Chad is a grown ass man and can text or do what ever he likes. Give me a break! What have you ever done? Maybe you need to go and watch film and become a better commentator. I guess ESPN is running out of little white boys who don't have a clue. So they decided to hire you. No skills or a clue.

Teddy is a champion who worked with champions... he's completely right.
Having said that, coming from a bad work environment it's no doubt Ocho is in awe of the machine that is the New England patriots. Yes, I am a fan

Teddi.... You not all that yourself..... with your sorry a..!

  • Tom Sharkey - 13 years ago

I think Teddi's comments are both Professional & Personal ..... I heard the segment live on weei and thought to myself..... you can't be that angry ( as Teddi was) and not have some personal feellings as well...... but he also did make some valid points ....also I am in love with Chad Ocho Cinco ....

I'm a bit shocked with the results of this poll. I wonder how many are fans of New England? I'll admit up front, I'm a big fan of Teddy. It was never about his playing so much as it was the pride he took in his work, and it showed then, and still does now. His comment by the way, is nothing new. If it frustrates you, its probably because your team isn't winning? You all should no, you have to believe to win. I've watched OC really close myself, and I'm not impressed, its clear he has a lot of work to do. I think its fair for Tom to say he is working hard. All of you should look at the size of the play book, and the amount of work it takes to be on top of things on that side of the ball. Also, I always felt the Team got behind Mr B, and part of that was to keep your mouth shut and do your job. If you don't open your mouth in the first place, your foot can't get stuck in it. I wish we could see more of Teddy!

Sounds more like jealousy to me. If Bruschi wasn't already washed up and his body spent from steroid use he might be able to be out on the field to confront Chad one on one like a real man. But instead he sits on his cushy chair in a climate controlled studio and spews venomous rants that are obviously the remnants of fits of Roid Rage. Classless.... purely classless.

Bruschi or what ever his name is, isn't right. Judge your self, before you judge somebody else. He has taken the whole statement out of context. At least he wasn't caught for Spy Gating and the Last time I checked, complimenting your own team is not a crime. He needs to shut his mouth, or else give me his job. Because obviously he is very poor at it. And as for the "Patriots way" for the record, every team in the NFL exercises excellence, but I certainly as the owner of ESPN, would have not tolerance for this kind of verbal and personal abuse for players who have enough stress, and frustrations, after what they have been through this year just to play on the football field.

  • mountain murf - 13 years ago

Bruschi is right! I have watched OC play in Cincy for what seems like forever...for him, not for the team. Nice guy, tons of talent, huge opportunity...but, understand, you have a high school mentality in a grown man's body. This is just a start, he will do more. He's not a Bengal any more. And I can't believe he will be a Patriot for the second half of the season. Grow up Chad! Stop trying to be a high schooler. Leave it to the kids.
