Love Elisabeth.....she is the only "normal" person on the show and balances it out with a group of bleeding liberals on the View. Hope this show stays on, it is refreshing to see something positive and without Kim Kardashian and her ilk.

I have watched the View for many years - back to the days when Meredith was the Host. I agree that Elizabeth just talks for the sake of talking. She never ceases to amaze me as her remarks often are way off topic. She talks when others are trying to make a point, and her laughter throughout discussions when she cannot think of anything to say is totally grating on the nerves. Also, when she leans back with her elbow or arm over her chair, trying to look at ease and in control is really dumb. This has nothing to do with her politics - she does not have the intelligence and true confidence required to be a member of the View. I have no patience for her, and she thinks she is wonderful, and so she won`t try to change. This is all my personal feelings.

Elisabeth is great. For those referring to her as narrow-minded, remember that MANY in America have views aligning with hers. This does not mean we are narrow-minded.
It always tickles me to see how some immediately resort to name-calling -- referring to Elisabeth (and Republicans and those with Elisabeth's views) as as arrogant, stupid, uninformed, making no sense, etc. Wow...talk about arrogant and closed-minded.

Well, you can certainly tell who the left wingers are here, no opinion is right except theirs. I stopped watching the view because of Rosie O'Donnell's idiocy and Joy Behart's total dumbness. Elizabeth is the only, ONLY one on that show who has a lick of common sense.

I don't have to agree with someone's political views to enjoy listening to them. I enjoy listening to intelligent debate. Elizabeth is not well informed and does not speak well. I believe she makes statements just for the attention. I stopped watching the view when she joined. I would enjoy the show and would love to watch it with my children but I will not be tuning in this evening because Ms. Hasselbeck will be hosting.

I think Elizabeth is a great addition to The View. I don't like how people attack her. The show is named The View for a reason. Just because she is Republican doesn't mean she shouldn't be respected. She is very intelligent and always interesting to listen to.

ELisabeth is beautiful, feminine, and has a great moral compass. Most ppl who watch "The View" do so because they are attracted to drama. They have not trained themselves in the art of following their inner heart's voice. Most of the hosts stir up strife with selfish intents. Elisabeth takes a deep breath and blows some fresh air into the stagnant air of unrestrained mouthy women. I applaud her, respect her and hope she is promoted out of there - but then who could be a light in the dark? I happened upon the bridal shower of her co-host Sherri, who thanked her fiance' for letting her remain celibate until their wedding night. Then she laughed w enjoyment as the vulgar, explicit dance of the striper put her face up to his rear - and I did turn the channel immediately, cause when I worship My Lord, I do not want that man's butt to appear in my thoughts. I'm sure Elisabeth ducked out of there. See the difference in the two who call Jesus their Lord. Call yourself what you want to, but Elisabeth she is not under the illusion that she is so important but rather she is so Valuable.

Elisabeth needs to be fired from The View, she should be on Fox Network with the other wingnuts. Everything she says makes no sense, she doesn't add anything to that show and I only watch when I know she won't be there. The View should get an attractive, educated woman who truly has a view and not jibberish. When you hire someone from a reality show, you usually get the lowest of the low and that's what they have.
