The Liberal Party is promising some public sector pensioners a raise. What do you think?

This has been long overdue as the public service pensioners have not received a raise since the early 90's or late 80's.
I can not remember the last raise.
How do pensioners do it and still live in Sj and other communities where the costs are ballooning!
Sad indeed for our pensioners as they must be having trouble to make it today.

As a retired public sector worker, I actually DO think it's about time that whatever government we have in power took a good, hard look at the unfair manner in hich we have been treated ever since we started paying pension premiums. I've been retired for 20 years, and my annual T4 reads exactly the same now as it did then!! And it's worth about 50% of what it was worth back then!! However, for the Liberals to come out with such a sweeping promise is really easy - they won't have to take it all back after October 11, and they know it. Promises, promises, promises. The road to 'you know where' is paved with them - even more so than good intentions, methinks!

Retired public sector workers have been treated unfairly since the Wells govt. decided to discontinue regular increases which hade been the norm for decades. It is high time that this situation be rectified. Come on, Ms. Dunderdale, show some compassion. Danny was wrong on this issue as he has been wrong on so many things.
