Does Florida need a Caylee’s Law?

Sorry folks, but we shouldn't be writing new criminal laws every time someone disagrees with a verdict. We have already over-criminalized too much behavior. There are plenty of laws on the books to deal with this situation. People may not like the fact that the State couldn't meet its burden of proof, but that happens sometimes. Sometimes people or children die and it is hard to prove what happened. That is life. Not all deaths are criminal. I don't like the behavior of Casey Anthony any more than you do, but we shouldn't be writing new laws criminalizing behavior just because of one sensational case.

ARE YOU KIDDING? FLORIDA IS THE CHILD ABUSE CAPITAL OF THE WORLD. WE NEED TO SEND A MESSAGE TO ALL THE PARENTS THAT ABUSE THEIR CHILDREN, THEY WILL BE CHARGED WITH A CRIME FOR NOT REPORTING THEM MISSING, AND OTHER CRIMES THE PERPITRATE AGAINST THEIR CHILDREN! YES WE DO NEED CAYLEE'S LAW!

Florida should of been the first state to add the "Caylee Law". Children are being murdered for the selfish needs and should be protected and perhaps the murderer will think twice before killing. I don't believe Caylee drowned. Why would the grandparents still have the pool in the backyard. That would be the first thing gone if my grandchild drowned. Caylee was murdered and keep a secret to decompose for 6 months, It was an act of murder not an accident. No one makes an accident look like a murder!... PROTECT our little precious children and at least give them the JUSTICE they deserve and that is make the murderer accountable to the CRIME !!

You have got to be joking right? This woman walked scott free and the child is dead, what else do you need to see YES WE NEED THE NEW LAW. This case is worse than the OJ Simpson case, a innocent and helpless child was either killed on purpose or by an accident due to neglect, how can you even ask such a stupid question?
