I love the following wonderful features in my kitchen:
- Large island with uninterrupted quartz counter surface (you can work from any angle)
- Gas stove (4 x 15,000 BTU) with electric convection oven
- Nice deep double sink (one large one small)
- Quiet and efficient dishwasher with upper cutlery tray (Miele)
- Attached pantry (actually a mudroom with shelving)
- Ice maker/crusher/dispenser in the fridge
- And my new Dualit 2-slice toaster. A perfect luxury.
If you are a foodie, then your cupboards and fridge are *never* big enough! :-)

All of the above? My kitchen has a stove with an indoor grill, a nice amount of quartz countertops, beautiful gloss two-tone tall cupboards, and a big side by side fridge. Why choose just one great feature when you can have them all? ;)
