Have grown, responsible adults abandoned the city? How on earth can anybody think it would be a good idea to issue a ticket to disrespectful miscreants rather than actually punishing law-breaking behavior? Reducing the repercussions of being found with marijuana only sends a message that disregarding the law will not be taken seriously but will be shrugged off. For those adults who admittedly break the law by smoking marijuana then complain that it can give them a criminal record, too bad. That is what you should be labeled. It is illegal. Have a legal drink if you need a substance to lean on...or better yet, get help.
