Iphone 4s is big disappointment. Tell me 1 thing why i should buy 4s if i have iphone 4. Just for 1 or 2 extra features. At least apple should have increased the screen size when they know their competitors samsung has 4.3 inch sreen. I wass planning to sell my iphone 4 but now i will wait for iphone 5

Iphone 4s hardware is worse than it's competition. Compare it to samsung galaxy S II, which has bigger, crisper amazing screen, faster dual core processor, 8 mpx camera, ect and was released months ago.. Apple just created a NEW worse hardware phone that can't compare with the present market. And about the software: much of the new ios5 ideas was copied fron android. And that Siri thing, it is just the expanded voice control that we already had years ago.
Nothing new, apple. Your falling shares reflect the situation..

I think it is a success because it is some needed improvements(camera) and I don't think we can expect a full redesign every year.

Big apple fan here was so excited for this day and now completely disappointed i had even sold my iPhone 4 32 gb 2 weeks ago for 400 hoping that they would be an iPhone 5 but i am let down , good thing i had 2 phone , the Samsung Infuse , what I'm currently using at the moment i will not get the iPhone 4S because i am too disappointed so i will just wait until the next 8 months from now when the real iPhone 5 will come out and oh yea a lot of people will feel like a loser when they waste there upgrade on this iPhone 4S.

I hope apple reads this. This is a huge disapointment. I wouldve definetly got the iphone 5 that was supposed to be announced today but instead all you gave us was another regular iphone with a little more specs. Huge mistake apple. It took you a year and a half to add a little better camera and a little voice thing. Not happy

I have been an iphone fan since the first generation, but this release today was really a huge disappointment. We all wait for almost a year through all these rumors and hype to be released with something that adds nothing more than a better camera and a built in friend that you can tell what to do? Its such a huge let down, not even a wifi hot spot or 4G connectivity, which might i add is standard on just about every other smart phone on the market today. Not to mention the fact that its going to cost you $450 (for basically a new camera) if you cant upgrade yet. This was a huge huge let down today, Apple better come back with an iPhone 5 that blows the market away or their sales will start on a very steep decline considering their phones were already becoming obsolete.

I'm (Un till now) a massive fanboy. Don't get me wrong I'll never go back to a pc now I use my iMac, I adore my iPad but as everyone seems to be saying, 15 months wait for this! An iPhone 4 with a bump in spec! Very, very disappointing. I'm gonna be dippin my toes in the Android world for the next 12 months till Apple hopefully listen to what people want i.e. that bigger screen and a new form factor. All very poor Apple.
Still a fanboy but very dissapointed. (did I say that before?)
Oh well it's been 15 months, what's another year right? Yeah right.
Only a 5% drop in shares? Count yourselves lucky I say. Oh and thank goodness for emerging markets too. That'll help Apple with this phone.

Big disappointment. What's the ram? I thought there was no problem with the antenna. My ip4 will have most of the important things the ip5 will have. My ip4 will look the same as the new one. It took them a year and something just for some baby upgrades. That means I'll have to wait till the next iPhone. Do you no how old my ip4 technology will be by then.

Why is everybody disappointed with iPhone 4s it's got all the features that you need and it has a new feature called Siri and iCloud and iOS 5 so guys don't get disappointed they might release iPhone 5 in about 1 year or 6 month so guys cheer up

We've got what we wanted, 8mp camera, Sire, 64 mb, A5 chip, iOS 5, etc...
They only have put the name 4S on the device. That 's not such a disaster!

the only thing apple had to do was put a 4.2 inch screen on the iphone and the intire world would of gone crazy.just add a bigger screen , thats all people wanted .but oh well maybe next year.but for now ill keep my androids with them over 4.5 screens !! love it !! .

I have 3gs and I gonna buy samsung galaxy3 bigger screen, iphone 4s it just iphone 4 whit more specs and why u need 64GB in phone.It necesery, and still that small screen.
