This is likely a ANCA associated form of vasculitis regardless of the negative EIA as a positive test has a specificity of 95-99%

This should be regarded a negative test for AAV for as only tests that are both + by IFA and confirmed by an antigenically specific test for PR3 or MPO should be considered positive

A positive pANCA is commonly caused by ANA activity in serum
