Why on earth does anyone want to go to a sporting event anymore? Most of the people there are drunk or getting that way, and screaming out curses or worse, and a lot of them are just plain crazy -- ask the 9 year old girl in Philly who was vomited on (on purpose!) by a so-called fan, or Mrs. Cliff Lee, who was spit on in Yankee Stadium when her husband pitched there. Or the Fan in San Francisco who was beaten so severely he is STILL in the hospital -- oh wait, you can't - he was brain-damaged. It is WAY too late to start sanctioning fans. And how do you "ban" someone from a stadium that holds thousands of people? How do they recognize them again? Thanks to ESPN, all the "running onto the field hi-jinks are overly publicized, so that is going to continue. There is one thing I do know for sure - being from Georgia - anyone cutting up at the Masters will be removed forthwith. No if, ans or buts. Thanks for listening.
