I just found this re-mastered film, called "Alexander the Great" with Shatner as Alexander. It's a pre-Trek TV pilot that did not sell to the networks. For anyone interested in Shatner's acting style and the pauses, you've got to see it! Shatner was evidently just starting to place strategic pauses in his speech. Example: He says "If they've done this to Cleander, I'll ... (pause) ... teach them. It also featured Joseph Cotten and John Cassavetes, as well as Adam West (Batman). For Batman fans, though, West had very few speaking lines.

    Enjoyable film, though, overall.
