The gentleman who is the creator of these pieces, is kind, gentle, caring, a productive member of society, and someone who just loves to play with the science of kinetics. He does not harm anything or anyone, rather he makes many of us smile.
There is no question that this act is nothing short of amazing! We should all be so concerned with doing something harmless and smile inducing.

What is a waste of time is in the eye of the beholder. If you enjoy doing something (if not harmful to others), then it isn't a waste of time, unless we do away with entertainment.
