Hey everyone! This was supposed to be just another fun competition between schools, not a battle. I had fun voting, sharing, and watching the votes grow. All in all Hilltop vs Mar Vista won this...congratulations! I know that all of our schools taught us to do the right thing! Spartans, remember Spartan's don't put down others. Win or lose, we are The Home of the Champions (HOC). Remember that!
but we show up and play hard win or lose and those county teams do a good job of recruiting players from around the county so that helps must be nice but like i said the south bay will always show up and play to win!
realistic just vote and shut up dont put these kids down from any school these kids play for school pride no money no shoe contracts they play because they love football they practice hard they get banged up they get tiered and they do it day after day these are men put some pads on and do what they do before you bad mouth these kids and thats why i only put realistic and left the the man out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! go MAR VISTA

Beyond the fact that the polls did close earlier than advertised, is all the hatred being spewed really necessary? This has been an interesting weekend with 4 schools showing tremendous school spirit and turning out over 16000 votes for each game. Go look at Bonita and Eastlake poll results from last week...they won with only 100-some votes. Everyone should be feeling good that there are that many students, staff, alumni, family and friends willing to show pride for the schools.
CV people...your halftime show is still going to be great and your team is improved and will undoubtedly be focused on turning around the result of last years game against OR. Best of luck to you Friday night.

Chula and Otay both had the oppurtunity to accept offers from Mar Vista to schedule games each of the previous two seasons and both declined those oppurtunites.
