He can offer options as he is able to contribute if given the chance. He can make a difference but I believe his self-being is not the same TO as before - the past. Get him the ball and let's see what happens.

Incredibly talented, but unfortunately, like so many others of his "me first" generation, his sense of entitlement has worn out his welcome. I am a long time Raider fan, and as such, appreciate the many careers that have been resurected in The Black Hole, but TO has simply burned too many bridges. What a pathetic waste of talent, but his own actions have ruined a once promising career. Perhaps he can redeem himself by working with other self destructive young egomaniacs before they destroy their careers as well.

T.O. is still a solid receiver and he could help a team that has a paucity of receivers due to injuries or the draft. On the other hand, I would make it clear to T.O. that if he's not 100% with the program he would be cut immediately. Thus he would be on a short leash. Believing this is his last hurrah, I think he will conform to the program and would be quite useful to many teams. I would sign him for one million bucks with an incentive performance clause, including his ability to get along with his teammates. I do believe in redemption and I have no respect of persons.

As a lifelong Raiders fan I'd love to see TO in silver and black .. the Raiders have nothing but young, inexperience receivers on their roster. TO scored 9 TDs in 14 games last year and Carson Palmer was throwing him the ball. They know each other. This could be TOs last opportunity to play and I am certain he would not be a distraction, as he was not a distraction in Cincinnati, even when they continued to lose. Last year TO was a team player (its funny how none of his critics talk about that) .. The performance Owens put on in his only Super Bowl appearance was phenomenal (and he really doesn't get credit for that) .. Oakland, Hue Jackson, PLEASE pick up TO because if he lingers out there too long and Tom Brady tells Bill to go get him (Chad O will be released), as much as I dislike the Patriots, if they get TO, Patriots easily win the Super Bowl 2012!

Hell no. There is a good reason there were NO scouts from any NFL team there. No matter how many passes he catches this guy was a cancer on every team he was ever on. He is now reaping what he sowed.

I would definitely want this guy on my team, especially if my team were Oakland, Seattle, Tampa Bay, San Diego, Washington, the Giants. They need to give their quarterbacks some tools to play with...even New England and Carolina could use his talent. The league is lacking in seasoned wide receivers that aren't getting injured every other weekend. Plus, he is older, wiser and is reportedly more of a team player than in the past. I think he deserves another shot and his recovery from his injury is pretty impressive.

GREAT TALENT , TERRIBLE ATTITUDE , I WOULDN'T WANT THIS GUY ON MY TEAM . HIS RECORD SHOWS THAT HE IS MORE OF A DISTRACTION THAN ANYTHING ELSE . @ SOME POINT IN HIS CAREEER HE WAS A GAME CHANGER BUT HE NO LONGER CAN DO THAT ....

Hell to the NO!!! I wouldn't want that washed up, has been arrogant locker room cancer on my team, even if he offered to play for FREE.

Terrell has aged, he can no longer play the way he once did, also he is a conceited individual that hurts teams more then he helps them. With his attitude, that if he does not get his touches he starts to act up in the press and pop off at his teammates and coaches on the sidelines during games. No one wants Owens anymore he has proven to be a big distraction and most team have moved on and away from taking a chance on him. You see the way Ocho Cinco sits in New England he cannot grip the offense therefore he is not the go to guy but he accepting that he is not the star anymore. In T.O.'s case he still thinks it is all about him and I doubt if a NFL TEAM WILL EVER TAKE A CHANCE ON HIM.

I voted not to have T.O. on my favorite team. The key word is team and T.O. has a reputation of not been a team player. There is no I in team, son get the point.

  • Norma - 12 years ago

I would like him on my team because he is showing great recovery and from the video shows no signs of slowing down due to his knee. He is better than actual players on NFL teams currently. Football is about the sport and his skills not his personality so for so many votes on NO he is here to win not to be liked.

  • Phelan - 12 years ago

Yes I would want him on my team. He still has good hands, which is more than I can say for some the receivers in the league now. Plus he is still a down field and touchdown threat. I feel a lot of teams would put there focus on him for that reason. I think he would be a good pick up.

George Allen once tooka cance on veteran ball players and won. Terrell Owens, although hecan talk a good game is a good team mate. He has taken care of his body and mind. Therefore, yes I would want himon my team.
