Everyone who is aware, witnessed and are told about this incident of abuse has to be accountable for not doing enough?. Whether it is Joe or anybody else, as long as they have been informed of such an incident during the time of occurrence and if they knew perpetrator, then these people must be made guilty for not bringing them to the justice.
If this kind of abuse has to end, if church fathers raping boys, or sports coaches or school headmasters or teachers raping and abusing boys has to end,
even the so called good people who did not do their part to stop this menace has to be booked and they be punished. Enough is enough of this dastardly and barbaric behaviors of Americans destroying little boys, girls and what not. What a shame on nation that every day there is yet another abuse case but the child abuse continues unabated.

Joe Paterno should retire, but not because of this ridiculous scandal; he should retire because he's done his job and has done it well, and he *deserves* to retire (with some dignity)

Coach Paterno was the 2nd person to know about the shower incident. His reaction should have been to call the police immediately. He didn't. Every boy molested after that time has Coach Paterno to blame.

What a shame Penn State! You will be scarred for many years for all the children that were molested on your campus! Shame on you Joe! Shame on YOU! Gutless Wonders! Afraid of a 80 year old man!
It seems to me that the people who want Coach Paterno to resign are jumping the gun. They are being totally judgmental without any real information or valid facts. They are condemning this man without reason or cause. Its a knee jerk reaction, shame on you !!!!!

Mike Mcqueary should resign. He should be charged with a felony. He was there and failed to stop the rape. Mike is big 6'4". Mike just watched the rape and then called his daddy. Mike is a big wimp and dropped the ball. If he would have knocked out the child molester and called the police. this crisis would have been lessened. Kick Mcqueary off campus.
