Should municipalities give Royal Canadian Legion's a break on property tax?

    as long as there are vets. and they are taken care of by the legion they belong to i say yes for a break on taxes.

    There are very few vets left unfortunately. I have worked in Legions and Army & Navy CLUBS. These establishments are visited mainly by younger people and they are there to purchase drinks and entertainment. These clubs must be taxed the same as any other liquor establishment is, as they are a business selling liquor and entertainment.

    All Veteran Service clubs, IE; the Polish Veterans, Brish Ex-Servicemens, Army, Navy & Air Force Veteran, Korean Veteran, just to name a few should have the availability to reduce their property taxes if they have a need to do so, not just five (5) Ledion clubs in Vancouver.
