The word "Vegan" should refer to whom?
Someone who eats a mostly plant-based diet whenever possible, but might intentionally cheat occasionally.
Anyone who abstains from eating animal foods is Vegan. Someone on just on an animal free diet can be vegan.
Anyone who goes on and off the vegan lifestyle is still vegan because they do it when they can.
Not consuming any animal products and byproducts, not wearing fur, leather, silk, or wool, and not purchasing or using any products that contain animal-derived ingredients or been tested on animals.
Someone who must fight for animal issues and abstains from all animal byproducts and use is vegan.
Someone who is planning to stop eating animal products, but is not quite there yet, but they are an activist.
Anyone alive is not vegan because all humans cause animals to die just by being alive, so the word is useless.
Anyone who says they are "vegan" is vegan, and should not be questioned by other vegans.
Someone who just does not buy animal products or anything tested on animals, but does not really make it too difficult by asking what the ingredients are at a party or restaurant.
