This ad offended me because it tried to sell a product by belittling people who bought the competitor's product. It's not about the people, it's about the products and respecting all people especially when they don't agree with you. It's just a good principle to guide a business.

Nope, not offensive. And no, it isn't offensive to ask the question, Jachy. The problem is this ad is for the dumbed-down generation who can't be arsed to read technical specifications and take the time to work out what the thing they're buying can actually do. It's a real crap advert. It sells on the fact that two other people bought a phone, presumably without having to wait in a queue, that has a big screen. What do we learn about the Samsung S2? Nothing. What do we learn about iPhones. Nothing. A waste of money? Probably not as people these days seem more concerned with having something that makes them appear superior to others than actually paying money for something that enriches their lives. I'm sure some will say the S2 does just this, as others will say the iPhone does too. However, this ad just perpetuates and further stimulates the superiority complex that smartphones bring. Do the research and buy the one that fits your lifestyle and don't brag!!

To even ask the question if this add is offensive proves to me how brainwashed you people are,
you know what i find offensive: People who stand in line for 9 hours to buy a electronic phone and than drive their cars while talking on it just to ask someone how their doing.......now that's offensive!!

... Oops, meant to say "sheep" rather than 'sheet'... Hopefully that makes a little more sense ;)

I answered 'No' to this as I personally wasn't offended by it. However, the reason why I don't think it's a very good ad is because it focuses on the 'people' who buy iPhones ( ie. the customer market they are, at least partially aiming at) and basically calling them sheet It's simply bad advertising, and a presumably desperate (and frankly immature) measure from a company that is not making enough headway in convincing people that their phone is a better purchase.

Great ad! The mocking details (from the barista comment to the two guys taking a stupid picture of themselves) are bang on: great satire, leveled in a humourous yet rather subtle fashion. The agency got everything down perfectly: attitude, clothing, pseudo hipness, etc...

I don't see anything bad about the ad. I think the Samsung phone is great, it's android I don't care for.
