Do you think the text alerts and pay-by-phone services are a good idea?
Isn't the SFMTA in trouble because they're writing fewer tickets? Won't this just make their shortfall worse?
That shortfall is the SFMTA's problem. If it helps me get fewer tickets, I'm all for it.

What's the plan for when they screw up, fail to text you, and you get a ticket? This is the SFMTA, after all.
