Gee we have no problem with Facebook but we now blame our phones for possible giving out information? Really? i can't believe how paranoid some people are. Forget privacy, its dead!

Perhaps the question shouldn't be about the vendors and carriers use of the data, but about how the availability of the data would lend itself to inappropriate use by the various government and private intelligence gathering agencies - the "backdoor" into our phones is in place, so why not use it? Several stories have recently broken about the information being shopped around by non-governmental intelligence groups. Something to think about.
