I 99% agree with David. Although 5 years would be better. Another 5 yr contract with a American league team after that. Im pretty sure that the Cubs want him. I figure a front loaded 5-6 year deal in the 115-140 range. Fielder knows about what Theo and company are planning on doing and are on track to do so. They need a big left handed bat that can hit for power and average. He will play great to par defense at first. His range will start to go towards the end of his contract.
