What would it take to convince you that God is "with someone" because of their exploits in a sporting event?
Stupid question--God ALWAYS favors athletes--how else could they be so awesome?!?
If an athlete says God blessed them, then I take their word for it. Who am I to dispute it?
If the Broncos beat the Patriots this Sunday, I'm sold.
I would need to pray and feel confirmation from the Holy Ghost that it is true.
Jesus appears, redirects an errant pass into a receiver's hands in the end zone, shouts "Yea verily, this matters! Root for Team A!" and zaps the cheerleaders so they dress like nuns.
There is absolutely nothing that could convince me of this.
