I have traveled around the world and our interventionist foreign policy is the major reason that I hear so many people don't like us. They like our principles and freedoms! It IS our meddling in foreign affairs, propping up of dictators, covert actions, etc... that causes problems. If only our citizens really knew ALL that we are doing around the world they would hopefully understand. If we don't come to grips with this fact, it will be at our own peril - both in national defense and economically.

Why doesn't SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE correct Bachmann and the media pundits to clearly establish WHAT Ahmadinejad actually said? I saw Bachmann on CNN carrying around the UN report but not quoting it. Ron Paul is not timid on foreign policy at all. If Congress gives Ron Paul a declaration of war for a good reason you best get off the battle field real quick because the war will be over before the media has the chance to sell the news. The military industrial complex will be whining because the war did not drag on long enough to drain the treasury and take the taxpayers for a ride.

If Iran is a threat, hasn't our current foreign policy produced that threat? We have not tried Ron Paul's way so it can't be his foreign policy that is currently threatening us. Bachmann flat out lied on stage in the debate. Iran has no nuclear weapons, is not pursuing them, has never claimed to want one or that they would bomb the USA if they had one. Gingrich and the rest stand there smiling knowing it is a crazy rant, but they want the lies to be spread. It was a perfect opportunity for Gingrich to go after her for disinformation, but did he? No! She is probably just a plant to propagate the lies on stage since she has a snowballs chance of getting the nomination. The Israel hate in the school textbooks is a lie too.
