Ya I saw the pic. I think you've got some cool ideas. Like, the whole concept of the twitter bots following you is cool. But..I just don't get what was funny about your bit? Maybe it's just me. Can you explain? I'm not trying to be rude or anything I just want to understand it.

You're right: on secs thought, it's not that funny...I needed todeliver it more sarcastically.

Hey man, I'd like to travel the world and do stand up. But I could just as well write jokes for other people. I have a blog coming soon with a major force in Toronto that's going to get me some popularity so we'll see where it goes! But I could write and make jokes all day; I want to have fun in life afte working corporate for 8 years.

Cool dude. Well where do you see yourself taking the comedy thing? Do you want to be doing it full time? Or are you just going to do it as a side thing?

FYI - I guess a few people don't know what I meant when crafting the twitter girls joke...revisit the post for an image of some of the Twitter bots following me on twitter everyday.

Angry Black - Yeah, I laughed my ass off when that popped into my head. The rest requires a rudimentary background in Hinduism.

Stan the Man - check out the image and let me know what you think. I hear what you mean about the white background; the whole thing is really just an exercise in using the Best Practices from Mike Bent's book. Jeselnik's is awesome! I saw his Dane cook thing; brilliant.

Nessa - I do find that the best practices thing is working; it's like a framework for funny. People are responding well to the jokes and the techniques are making my mind work in ways that seems to be producing what they like. Whereas people would just shit on me about everything, they're saying, 'I didn't like this, but loved that, etc.' It's a step in the right direction.

Do you find this best practices thing is working for you?

Ya I agree. The other one about the chicks on twitter was just not funny. Also, I'm not sure the whole you sitting looking at a camera, in front of a white wall with no audience is working. It's almost like crickets are about to start chirping.

You being on twitter is cool though as a budding comedian. Check out Jeselniks page his posts are gold.

The bit about the ugly white girls eating too much legitimate beef...is the funniest thing you've ever said. Just that first part. The rest was gibberish.
