I have never owned a more messed up product in my life as the Fire. I expect that I will throw it at the wall if Amazon does not have a MAJOR update soon. It seems to be worse with the 6.2.1 update, not better, if that is possible.

I have had this happen once with a book and on at least two other occasions with periodicals. Had to "SYNCH" from the settings screen to fully d/l each time. To be fair: we have been experiencing some sporadic interruptions in service from our fiber optic ISP over the past few weeks which may be the actual culprit. So many ups and downs that I thought they had merged with a roller coaster company ... or worse; AT&T.

I was just wondering if the books were not downloaded properly before they left the wi-fi connection. Then I could see how this would happen.
