According to Total QBR, Rodgers and Brees were by far the two best quarterbacks in the league in 2011. Rodgers finished the season with an 85.2 Total QBR and Brees was second in the league at 84.0. After that, there was a big drop to third place -- Tom Brady at 74.2 and Tony Romo (70.1) were the only other quarterbacks above 70.

News: Romo finished the season with his best-ever QB rating of 102.5, completing 346-of-522 passes for 4,184 yards and an outstanding 31:10 TD:INT ratio. (Mon Jan 2)

He was also sacked a career-high 36 times, and while he managed to play in all 16 games he dealt with injuries for the second straight season. If the Cowboys don't make upgrading their offensive line a top offseason priority, you should consider Romo to be a risky pick in 2012.

I WONDER HOW MANY TIMES RODGERS, BREES, AND BRADY WERE SACKED IN 2011, AND HOW MAnY PAIN INJECTIONS THEY HAD TO ENDURE TO PLAY IN ANY OF THEIR GAMES....just presenting the facts, you decide Romo's true value.

I cant believe you ignorant cowboy fans would take the time to come on here and vote for Romo and give him an F! He is truely one of the best QB's in the NFL. I gave him an A! I could never have givin him less than a B for his play this season. You fake fans need to find another team! Our defence was terrible all season with the exeption of Ware! We need a whole new secondary. The QB, WR's, TE, and MURRAY were really good! Stop watching football if you can't see!

Folks who gave Romo a "F" weren't watching the games. Romo was the best player on a very flawed team. Without Romo, how many games does this time win? Not many.

I am sick and tired of the so called Cowboy fans showing just how ignorant they are in regards to Romo. We have the absolute sorriest excuse for a fan base I have ever seen. Would all of you "F" 'rs please get the F off of this site and go find another team to complain and moan about and show your stupity to. Truely pathetic......

To each and everyone of you who graded Tony Romo an F.......wake up. This shows you know nothing about the game. Did you miss Romo's QB rating for this year: 102 putting him number 4 in the entire NFL and not even a full point behind Eli Manning number 3. That is number 4 of 32 teams putting him with the likes of Tom Brady, Aaron Rogers, Drew Brees etc. Pretty impressive looking at that. You might also need to find out that there are 3 components to a football team and four when you figure in Coaching staff, which for this year you have to since our coaches cost Dallas two wins. So you have: offense, defense, special teams and coaching. Dallas defense was a joke. Keep two/three people off this squad: Ware, Lee possibly Hatcher (pre-injury Hatcher) and cut the rest. Special Teams: cut the entire lot of them, absolutely no aspect of special teams even deserved a pay check. Offense: what line: a strainer that you use to drain spaghetti noodles in the kitchen holds more water than they do. What a joke. Keep Romo, whitten, austin, murray, robinson, Bryant. Offense is in best shape, they are just way young.

I'm tellin' ya. What a joke. You "F "people cannot even be serious. Based on what??? Tony Romo was great, considering his injuries and other obstacles. One of the best qb's in Cowboy history, given the teams around him have been mediocre. The problem with this current -team? DEFENSE. It sure as heck isn't Romo. You are showing that you aren't paying attention, or are living in a dream world. Haters, all.

Common.....let's be real here people. True fans know that Romo had a great year, one of his best. The collapse of the team should not fall on him. The defense constantly let us down week after week. Tony showed he was a true leader and gutted it out time after time. Look at all the times he made something out of nothing and improvised to keep drives going. Great job Tony, your time will come! P.S. Jerry please help on the defensive side of the ball, primarily in the secondary!!
