5 games is not sufficient? Perhaps the death penalty for a submarine would satisfy. Not sure how a submarine is predatory, especially when the player is coming at you. Reckless, dangerous and something you want to strongly discourage, but predatory I think is an unfair characterization. If Vigneault is correct in his prediction about payback, then perhaps Marchand's ultimate penalty will be much higher. I say be careful for what you wish for.

I have said this before, the offender should not be allowed to play again until the injured player returns to play.In this way we would have both teams punished.

Every Canadian player as à youth and played minor hockey in Canada were shown how to Give and take à hit! Pretty sûre wé don't take hits Like that!

Are you guys for real? What would you do if someone was bearing down on you along the boards? Did any of you ever actually play contact sports?
