Should we meet in Unity House

I've only made it to one Friday Room meeting, the Alternative Vote one last year, as I've been too busy since. However, I'm hoping to get into it more regularly, and have no objections to using Unity House, provided that the Labour Party don't use the opportunity to proselytise. I have fond memories of when that venue was the (Old-) Labour Club when I was young, but am not especially politically aligned myself.

I quite like the irony of a broadly left/centre group meeting at a Cons Club. ;) Fearon Hall or a church would also be fine by me, and I concur with Daphne that a central venue is ideal -- for now at least, Unity House seems to fit this.

I'll hopefully make it to the next meeting.
    Cheers,
    Paul

I am not sure Unity House should be a permanent venue but have no objections to meeting there. Perhaps we could also try the Conservative Club. A church venue could also put people off so It is difficult. Have we tried Fearon Hall. Not sure what their facilities are like now. We really need a venue as central as possible though.

    See you tonight
    Cheers
    Daphne
