If you like something, what stops you from writing a review?

Often I think about it when I buy the book, but since I haven't read it then I'm not ready to review it. The idea on the Kindle about doing the review at the end of the book is good, but I haven't been sure where that review goes...I thought it just went to friends on Facebook. Does it go to Amazon as a review? It may seem backwards, but somehow in my mind I would rather do it on Amazon (going to people who are at least looking at the possibility of buying it) vs. to my "Friends" on Facebook (who may not be interested!) I'd like to know where the "end of the book comments go" perhaps the answer is here online somewhere :-)

Meaningful reviews take time. I would never write a review with only a few words to say I liked it or didn't. Reviews should tell you a little about the story line, what you liked or didn't like but nothing about typos or pricing.
